At Casa La Paloma, comfort and convenience are assured.
The larger house (the casa) has a master bedroom with a king size
bed and a second bedroom with two twin beds. The large bathroom has
twin sinks and a beautifully tiled shower. There is ample closet and

takes in the outdoor kitchen and dining palapa, along with the pool
and ocean beyond.
The smaller house (the casita) has a king size bed, one twin bed, lovely tiled shower
and bathroom, lounging area and tiled patio opening onto
the pool.
Bath and pool towels are provided, as well as a portable CD player,
backgammon, scrabble, a ping pong table and some other kids' games. Free wireless Internet access is available on site for those who'd like to bring a laptop.
The fully furnished kitchen includes a coffemaker,
blender, all utensils, toaster and toaster oven, bottled drinking
water and refrigerator.
Out on the beach, there is a delightful shaded ramada with several hammocks. This is a fine place to nap, read, or idle away an afternoon.

Children of all ages are welcome at Casa La Paloma.
Troncones is a very special place: remote, yet accessible; comfortable
but still unspoiled by tourist overload. If you are looking for a
high rise hotel, loud discos, and a place to show off your high fashion,
Troncones is not for you. But if your idea of paradise is an unspoiled
stretch of beach with privacy and tranquility, then come discover
Casa La Paloma.
Troncones is a sleepy little village, and the local people are friendly
and warm. Burros, pigs, and roosters roam the streets (remember to
keep the gates closed!) and sea turtles lay their eggs in the sand.
The soft breezes that waft in from the ocean caress you and rustle
the palm trees and the sun shines warmly just about every day. The
night sky in Troncones is a wonder to behold, an array of stars that
encourage contemplation and romance.
Casa La Paloma (House of the Dove) draws its name from the large antique
fishing canoe, carved from the trunk of a single tree, that lives
now as a huge planter by the pool. You can still see, beneath a cascade
of bougainvillea, the name of the canoe: La Paloma. The dove motif
is also found in the tile in the bathroom of the casita. And of course
the dove, as the symbol of peace, is the appropriate icon for a place
that brings peace so readily.
Owned by Bruce and Emmy Cushnir from Santa Cruz, California, Casa
La Paloma is managed by Linda Bondy, a longtime resident of the area.
A wonderful local family lives in the gatehouse at the rear of the
property. Gato is our master gardener and surf guide, his lovely wife Yesi is
the housekeeper, and their beautiful little girls Montserrat (Monzie) and baby Emily are the mascots.
Yesi is also an amazing cook. Guests can contract with her to prepare some meals. She does wonderful things with the fresh shrimp, lobster, and fish available nearby.
